I am honored to serve as the principal of Versailles High School, also known as Morgan County R-II High School. This year marks my twenty-third year within the Morgan County R-II School District. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of fulfilling various roles including high school social studies teacher, elementary assistant principal, and high school assistant principal, before assuming the principalship at VHS four years ago. Notably, I am a proud graduate of VHS, Class of 1995.
My mission as principal of VHS revolves around three core principles. Firstly, to uphold the rich traditions and customs that have defined our educational community since VHS first opened in 1893. Secondly, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high expectations through robust community involvement. Lastly, to provide students with a diverse array of knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for their future endeavors.
At VHS, we are dedicated to nurturing tomorrow's leaders within our community. Our committed staff ensures that students emerge as engaged community members, informed citizens, and well-prepared individuals as they transition into their chosen career paths.
